Overview

The Rohde & Schwarz NRP50SN is a three-path diode power sensor that measures average RF power with high accuracy independent of modulation type. Unlike conventional multi-path detectors, the NRP50SN uses three separate diode paths that overlap by 6 dB, with each path continuously and simultaneously measured. The patented overlapping architecture eliminates switching hysteresis, measurement delays, and differential nonlinearity, delivering exceptional measurement speed and accuracy even at low signal levels. With both LAN and USB connectivity, the NRP50SN provides flexible system integration. With 93 dB dynamic range and a lower measurement limit of –70 dBm, the NRP50SN is ideal for applications requiring fast, accurate power measurement with remote monitoring capability.
