Overview

The Amplifier Research 500A250A is a self-contained, air-cooled, broadband solid-state microwave amplifier designed for applications requiring instantaneous bandwidth and high gain. Featuring push-pull LDMOS circuitry in all high-power stages, the amplifier delivers 500 watts of swept power with minimal distortion and excellent stability.

Equipped with a Digital Control Panel (DCP) featuring a 3.75-inch graphic display, the 500A250A offers both local and remote control via GPIB/IEEE-488, RS-232, and USB interfaces. The DCP provides comprehensive operational displays of forward and reflected power along with internal amplifier status reporting.
