The Amplifier Research 1000A400 is a solid-state, self-contained, air-cooled broadband RF amplifier designed for applications requiring instantaneous bandwidth, high gain, and linearity. Operating from 10 kHz to 400 MHz, it delivers a minimum of 1000 watts of RF power with a front panel gain control for convenient output level adjustment.
The unit features a Digital Control Panel (DCP) with a color LCD touch screen for local operation and status monitoring. Over-temperature and power supply faults are clearly displayed, allowing the operator to take corrective action. All amplifier functions and status indications are accessible remotely through multiple control options including GPIB, RS-232, fiber optic, USB, and Ethernet.
