Overview

The AE Techron 7224 is a 4-quadrant linear power amplifier designed for compact benchtop deployment while delivering industrial-grade power performance. Operating from single-phase 120/230 VAC input in a 2U rack height, the 7224 provides up to 50 A of current and 158 V of output, making it suitable for a wide range of demanding applications including EMC testing, laboratory research, and specialized measurement systems. The amplifier supports both controlled-current and controlled-voltage operating modes, with optional precision control of output offset, DC drift, and gain linearity available with the P option.
