Olympus Evident Magna-Mike 8600 Thickness Gauge

Overview

The Olympus Evident Magna-Mike 8600 is a portable thickness gauge using Hall Effect magnetic sensing to make reliable and repeatable measurements on nonferrous materials. Operation is straightforward: the magnetic probe is held on one side of the test material while a small target ball, disk, or wire is placed on the opposite side or inside a container. The probe's Hall Effect sensor measures the distance between the probe tip and target, instantly displaying the digital thickness reading on a large color display.
