Overview

The Magna Power SLC1000-6/480 is a programmable DC power supply from the SL Series, engineered for demanding automated test equipment (ATE) systems. Built on nearly 40 years of Magna-Power's power supply innovation, this unit features the company's signature current-fed power processing topology and delivers 1000V output, 6A current, and 6kW power in a compact 1U rack-mount form factor (1.75" height). Rated for continuous operation at ambient temperatures up to 50°C, it combines power density with reliability through state-of-the-art semiconductors and innovative heat sink design.

All models are designed and manufactured in the USA and hold UL/CSA and CE Mark certifications. The unit includes comprehensive diagnostic functions covering AC phase loss, thermal conditions, overvoltage and overcurrent protection, and interlock fault detection, with AC mains mechanically disconnected during standby or diagnostic faults.
