Description
Overview
The Stanford Research Systems SR850 is a digital lock-in amplifier based on innovative digital signal processing (DSP) architecture. It provides significant performance advantages over traditional analog lock-in amplifiers, including higher dynamic reserve (>100 dB), lower drift, lower distortion, and dramatically higher phase resolution (0.001°). The SR850 features a 7-inch CRT display and 65,536-point data buffer for advanced data visualization and analysis.
Key Features
- Frequency range: 1 mHz to 102.4 kHz
- Dynamic reserve: >100 dB (without prefilters)
- Phase resolution: 0.001° with orthogonality to 0.001°
- Input noise: 6 nV/√Hz at 1 kHz
- Time constants: 10 μs to 30 ks with 6, 12, 18, 24 dB/oct rolloff
- Differential input with 10 MΩ impedance
