The Keysight E8257D-540 is a 40 GHz PSG analog signal generator delivering metrology-grade performance with high output power, superior level accuracy, and extremely low phase noise. The high output power and superior level accuracy often eliminate the need for an external amplifier when testing high-power devices, while minimizing test uncertainty to identify errors early in the design process.

The world-class phase noise performance makes the E8257D-540 ideal for local oscillator applications, low jitter clock substitution, and adjacent channel selectivity tests. It is well-suited for testing advanced RF and microwave radar, communications, and control systems.
