Description
Overview
The Keysight 8770A (originally Hewlett-Packard) is an arbitrary waveform synthesizer designed for multi-format communication signal generation and phase noise measurement. Waveform data is developed on a computer, loaded into the synthesizer's memory, and converted to analog output. Multiple different waveforms can be stored and output in any desired order.
Key Features
- 8ns sample update rate for high-speed waveform generation
- 12-bit word resolution (monotonic)
- 125MHz internal clock
- 12K memory capacity
- 110dB RF attenuator
- Special deglitching circuits for signal integrity
- GPIB interface for computer control
Applications
- Multi-format communication signal generation
