Overview

The Keysight 8656A is a synthesized signal generator providing RF signal generation from 100 kHz to 990 MHz. It delivers calibrated output levels from +13 to -127 dBm with 0.1 dB resolution and precise frequency generation. Both AM and FM modulation are supported with internal and external sources, and the instrument can be remotely programmed via the HP-IB interface.
