Description
Overview
The Endevco 2273AM1 is a piezoelectric accelerometer specifically designed for use in nuclear reactor vibration and loose-parts monitoring systems. The accelerometer is self-generating and requires no external power source for operation. Its Isobase construction provides mechanical isolation from the mounting base, resulting in very low strain sensitivity. The case is made of Inconel with hermetic sealing through welding and glass-to-metal fusion at the connector.
Key Features
- Temperature range from -55°C to +400°C (-65°F to +750°F)
- Piezoelectric Piezite Type P-14 sensing elements
- Isobase construction for mechanical isolation
- Radiation-hardened design
- Inconel case with hermetic sealing
- Self-generating (no external power required)
- Side-mounted connector (model 2273AM1); top-mount available (2273AM20)
