Overview
The Bruel & Kjaer 4506 is a miniature triaxial piezoelectric CCLD accelerometer featuring TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) smart interface conforming to IEEE P1451.4. The 4506B incorporates a robust titanium housing with an integrated 4-pin Microtech-compatible connector and five mounting surfaces for flexible installation. The accelerometer is easily mounted on test objects using economical plastic mounting clips and features a patented OrthoShear design that provides high sensitivity-to-weight ratio and ensures all axes share the same reference point.
