Overview
The Fluke Networks FQM-100-M is a handheld fiber fault locator designed to quickly identify problems in multimode fiber optic cables. It fills the gap between a visual fault locator (VFL) and an expensive optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR), offering graphical data and distance information on cable faults in seconds. The FQM-100-M detects and measures high-loss splices, breaks, dirty connectors, and severe bends up to 1,500 meters of fiber.
