Overview

The Fluke P3214-KGCM2 is a water-operated deadweight tester (DWT) designed for accurate pressure calibrations up to 700 kgf/cm². It employs a precision piston-gauge system with tungsten carbide piston and hardened steel cylinder, offering certified accuracies traceable to NIST. The P3200 series water-operated design makes it ideal for media-sensitive applications where oil is not permissible.

Deadweight testers serve as the fundamental benchmark for pressure measurement. Precisely calibrated weight masses are placed on a vertically oriented, precision-lapped piston, which rises freely within its cylinder. The counterbalancing force between the weights and system pressure determines the precise pressure reading.
