Overview

The Magna Power ALx Series DC electronic load utilizes linear MOSFET-based dissipative elements, delivering wide voltage-current operating capability within the model's maximum power rating. Incorporating heat management innovations from Magna Power's high-density DC power supplies, the ALx Series achieves continuous full-power operation in ambient temperatures up to 50°C.

Using MOSFETs in the linear region with closed-loop control, multiple devices can be stacked in a master-slave configuration. Each MOSFET produces load current proportional to its control voltage, with closed-loop amplifiers ensuring equal current distribution across parallel devices.
