Overview

The Magna Power ALx Series MagnaLOAD is a compact, high-density DC electronic load utilizing linear MOSFET-based dissipative elements to achieve an exceptionally wide voltage-current operating range within the model's maximum power rating. The ALx Series' conservative cooling design ensures long product life with continuous full power operation in ambient temperatures up to 50°C.

The ALx Series uses MOSFETs operated in the linear region to allow full power and complete control across the entire VA rating of the product. Closed-loop control circuitry linearizes response characteristics, with multiple MOSFET devices sharing load current equally through precision amplifier circuits.
