Overview

The Magna Power ALx Series DC Electronic Load utilizes linear MOSFET-based dissipative elements, delivering one of the industry's widest voltage-current operating ranges within its maximum power rating. The ALx17.5-1000-525/240SP+GPIB combines MagnaLINK™ distributed DSP architecture with conservative cooling design to support continuous full power operation in environments up to 50°C ambient temperature. MOSFETs are operated in the linear region with closed-loop control to enable precise load dissipation across the entire VA rating.
