The HOBO by Onset U26-001 is an affordable, high-performance data logger designed for measuring dissolved oxygen (DO) concentrations in lakes, streams, rivers, estuaries, and coastal waters. It uses Rugged Dissolved Oxygen (RDO) optical sensor technology, which provides long-lasting calibration with minimal maintenance requirements. The U26 is recommended for aquatic biology and hydrology research projects requiring accurate, reliable DO monitoring.
Note: DO measurements in saltwater require salinity adjustment. The HOBOware Pro Dissolved Oxygen Assistant software automatically corrects for measurement drift from sensor fouling.
