Data Loggers

Data Loggers

Data loggers are standalone electronic devices that record measurements from one or more sensors over time, storing data in internal memory for later retrieval and analysis. They operate autonomously without continuous connection to a computer or network, making them ideal for unattended monitoring of temperature, humidity, pressure, and other parameters in laboratories, storage facilities, and field locations. Output interfaces typically include USB, Ethernet, and wireless connectivity for data transfer and real-time monitoring.

Data loggers are widely used in industries subject to strict regulatory requirements — pharmaceuticals, food processing, aerospace, and medical devices — where documented environmental records are mandatory for compliance and quality assurance. Multi-channel mainframe systems extend this capability to simultaneous measurement across dozens of sensor inputs, supporting complex validation protocols in metrology and calibration laboratories.

Typical Applications

  • Cold chain and warehouse temperature monitoring for pharmaceutical and food products
  • GxP-compliant validation of incubators, freezers, autoclaves, and cleanrooms
  • Multi-channel data acquisition in calibration and metrology laboratories
  • HVAC performance testing, commissioning, and building energy audits
  • Environmental and climatic testing of electronic components and assemblies
