Overview

The eATVS-8 is a portable, 8-channel automatic temperature and velocity scanner based on hot wire anemometer technology. This research-quality instrument performs accurate single- or multi-point measurements of air temperature, velocity, and surface temperature in complex environments such as PCBs and electronics enclosures. It can measure both fluid and solid temperatures when used as a temperature logger.

Designed for both rackmount and desktop configurations, the eATVS-8 employs patented, fast-response, omni-directional sensors that measure both temperature and velocity simultaneously. The unique single-sensor technology eliminates errors introduced by non-isothermal airflow. Each precisely calibrated sensor is flexible and robust with a low-profile configuration that allows minimally intrusive mounting throughout PCB topographies. The system operates via a connected PC using the included stageVIEW software for data acquisition and reporting.
