Description
Overview
The Megger BVM150 is a modular battery voltage measurement system designed for automated capacity testing of large industrial battery banks. It is commonly used in electrical power substations, telecom facilities, and computer data center UPS systems. The BVM150 enables completely automated battery bank capacity tests according to IEC standards and meets NERC/FERC requirements.
The BVM150 is designed in modular form, with one unit per battery cell or block in the string. Units connect in a daisy-chain fashion (expandable up to 2×120 units, or 240 total), providing economical scalability for small to large battery bank systems. Each unit is identical and interchangeable, with an auto-discovery feature that automatically determines the number of batteries under test.
