The AMETEK California Instruments SQ0090 SEQUOIA is a 90kVA programmable regenerative grid simulator that combines intelligence, flexibility, and high power in a full four-quadrant design. Built with state-of-the-art SiC power switching architecture, the Sequoia delivers exceptional compactness and robustness in a floor-standing chassis. With optional add-on electronic load capability, it supports advanced renewable energy simulation and test requirements.
The Sequoia uniquely acts as an ideal grid, regenerating current from PV inverters and wind turbines with nearly complete power recovery and 85% efficiency. It can emulate various grid conditions from strong to weak grid, and supports EV On-Board battery charger simulation through its electronic load mode.
