Overview

The N9951BU/360 is a phased array antenna support option for FieldFox handheld analyzer, combined with Ball Aerospace / Anokiwave 64-element antenna array for portable 5G air interface measurement and analysis in field environments. This option reduces measurement complexity with an integrated RF probe and phased array solution.

  • Support for 64-element, single polarization phased array antenna (27.5–30 GHz coverage)
  • Measure gNode-B (gNB) beam characteristics including signal power level across azimuth and elevation
  • Integrated RF probe and phased array solution for capturing radiated gNB energy
  • 5G user equipment (UE) and antenna performance simulation
  • Multiple display options: boresight, polar antenna pattern with compass, heat map (azimuth vs. elevation)

Requirements

  • Spectrum Analyzer mode (Option 233 on combination models)
  • Phased array antenna (Keysight model 85571A-028)
  • Compatible with N995xA and N996xA models only (for 28 GHz operation)
  • Recommended: GPS receiver (Option 307) and internal preamplifier (Option 235)
