The Keysight N9951BU/238 Time Gating Option enables measurement of periodic signals during specified time intervals. This capability is particularly useful for analyzing pulsed RF signals, allowing measurement during the pulse on-period while excluding transient switching events or other interfering signals. Time gating reveals spectral components that would otherwise be masked or hidden during continuous measurement.
