Keysight N9918BU/238 Time Gating Option

Overview

The Keysight N9918BU/238 Time Gating Option for FieldFox analyzers measures the spectrum of periodic signals during specified time intervals. This is particularly useful for analyzing pulsed RF signals, where you can measure only the pulse during the on period and exclude transitions or off periods. Time gating also allows exclusion of interfering periodic transients to reveal hidden spectral components. The option uses a Gated FFT method and requires Keysight option 233 for operation.
