Overview
The Keysight N9913BU/238 Time Gating Option for FieldFox measures the spectrum of a periodic signal during a specified time interval. Using the Gated FFT method, this option allows measurement of signal components during the active period while excluding transitions and idle periods, or filtering out interfering signals such as periodic transients. This capability reveals spectral components that would otherwise be hidden or masked. It requires the N9913BU/233 spectrum analyzer option.
