Overview

Option 330 is the Pulse Measurements option for FieldFox C-Series analyzers, designed for efficient characterization of pulsed RF signals. This option enables the measurement of important key performance indicators (KPIs) such as average power, peak power, and peak-to-average ratio. It is particularly useful for checking radar signal quality in the field with a lightweight, portable unit.

Key Features

  • Average power, peak power, and peak-to-average ratio measurements
  • Rise time, fall time, pulse width, pulse period, and pulse repetition frequency analysis
  • Analog gauge and digital display in dBm and watts
  • Relative and absolute measurements with dB or percentage units
  • Minimum and maximum limit capability for automated testing
  • Trace graph for pulse profiling with gating functionality

Applications

  • Radar signal quality verification in field environments
  • Pulsed transmitter performance testing and characterization
  • Defense and military RF equipment validation
