Keysight N4433A RF Electronic Calibration Module

Overview

The Keysight N4433A is a precision 4-port RF electronic calibration (ECal) module that extends to 20 GHz, making it suitable for higher-frequency applications than lower-band alternatives. Equipped with standard 3.5 mm female connectors, the module enables full 3- or 4-port calibration of vector network analyzers in less than half the time required by traditional mechanical calibration kits. The N4433A is fully controlled through a USB interface by Keysight PNA and ENA series network analyzers (PNA firmware revision 2.5 or higher required).

ECal modules function as transfer standards, maintaining factory calibration accuracy to the connected network analyzer. The technique significantly reduces connector wear and the associated maintenance costs while minimizing human error through automated firmware control.
