Overview

The Keysight B2902B is a 2-channel, compact and cost-effective Precision Source/Measure Unit (SMU) featuring an innovative user interface designed for I-V (current versus voltage) measurement without requiring PC programming. It offers a maximum voltage of ±210 V, current capability of ±3 A DC and ±10.5 A pulsed, with ultra-high sourcing and measurement resolution down to 10 fA and 100 nV. The B2902B is ideal for a wide variety of I-V measurement tasks requiring both high resolution and accuracy.

The device features a user-friendly front panel GUI with a 4.3-inch color LCD display supporting both graphical and numerical view modes, enabling quick and easy performance of measurements directly from the instrument. The integrated 4-quadrant source and measurement capabilities simplify I-V measurements and eliminate the need for configuring multiple instruments. Minimum 10 microsecond digitizing capability captures low-frequency transient phenomena, while superior measurement throughput and conventional SCPI command support enable efficient production test integration.
