SMC RAPTOR-SL Auxiliary Slave Unit

Overview

The SMC RAPTOR-SL is an auxiliary slave unit designed to expand the power capacity of existing Raptor primary injection testing systems. Delivering an additional 5 kVA of stabilized power to the high-current secondary circuit, the RAPTOR-SL increases overall system current capability without modifying the master unit or requiring additional power or control interconnections. The slave communicates with the master Raptor unit exclusively via infrared link, simplifying field deployment.

Up to three RAPTOR-SL units can be cascaded with a single master system, providing cumulative power increases for applications requiring sustained current injection in the 4,000 to 15,000 A range. Each unit uses the same pass-through secondary design with centered hole, allowing multiple slaves to be configured in a modular fashion to match the specific compliance voltage and current requirements of the application.
