The AMETEK Sorensen Asterion is a programmable DC power supply combining intelligence and flexibility for advanced DC power testing. This autoranging model delivers 1700W at 40V/85A maximum output. Available in multiple power ratings (1.7 to 10 kW), the Asterion series is engineered for both economical operation and high-precision testing applications in demanding environments.

Operation is available through an intuitive front panel touchscreen, digital control interfaces (Ethernet LXI, USB, RS232, optional GPIB), or Virtual Panels graphical software. The dynamic rate change algorithm ensures precise control for small parameter adjustments and quick sweeps across the full range.
