Description
Overview
The Hioki PQ3198 is a robust power quality analyzer designed for field personnel analyzing power characteristics in complex systems. It reliably captures the full range of power anomalies including momentary interruptions, voltage drops, and frequency fluctuations while recording trends to help investigate causes of unexpected equipment malfunctions.
With Class A compliance per IEC 61000-4-30 Ed. 2, the PQ3198 performs standard-mandated measurement tasks including gapless continuous calculation, event detection (swells, dips, interruptions), and GPS-based time synchronization. The isolated fourth voltage channel enables simultaneous measurement of power and efficiency across two circuits with different voltages, such as AC input and DC output of EV rapid chargers.
