Overview
The Viavi OSCA-710 Kit is a complete test solution for next-generation DWDM networks, bundling the OSCA-710 coherent analyzer with the UTM-710 utility module and TB/MTS-8000 test bed platform. The analyzer is designed for polarization-multiplexed transmission formats and uses a proprietary spectral correlation measurement (SCorM) technique combined with an ultra-high resolution coherent receiver for complete signal characterization in amplitude, frequency, phase, and polarization. It is the first analyzer capable of measuring true in-band OSNR on polarization-multiplexed signals in ROADM-based networks without requiring channel shutdown.
