Overview
The Newport 1784 is a fiber-coupled VCSEL (vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser) source operating at 850 nm with a 25 Gbit/s data rate. Designed for laboratory applications and test and measurement of 25-Gbit/s datacom devices, it provides clean electrical signal delivery through high-performance microwave circuitry and a 50-μm output fiber that supports FC/PC connectors.
