Viavi OSCA-710 Optical Spectrum and Correlation Analyzer

Overview

The Viavi OSCA-710 is a coherent optical spectrum and correlation analyzer designed for next-generation DWDM networks using high-speed polarization-multiplexed transmission formats. Using a proprietary spectral correlation measurement (SCorM) technique combined with an ultra-high resolution coherent receiver, the OSCA-710 performs complete signal characterization in amplitude, frequency, phase, and polarization without requiring channel shutdown. It is the first analyzer capable of measuring true in-band OSNR on polarization-multiplexed signals in ROADM-based networks.
