Overview

The Viavi OSA-500 is a full-band optical spectrum analyzer tailored for spectral measurements in CWDM systems in access networks and DWDM systems in high-speed backbone networks with data rates up to 100 Gbps. It features Viavi's Optical Polarization Splitting (OPS) method for measuring true in-band OSNR in ROADM-based networks, making it ideal for troubleshooting and signal analysis in complex optical systems.
