Overview
The Viavi SmartClass Fiber MPOLx is an optical loss test set engineered for complete Tier 1 (Basic) certification of MPO fiber networks. It integrates a dual-wavelength light source and power meter into a single solution, enabling technicians to perform all necessary certification requirements from either end of the connection.
With identical local and remote units, the MPOLx provides full visibility and control from both the source and meter side. The 3.5-inch color touch-screen interface displays comprehensive results for all 12 fibers in under 6 seconds, including loss values, margins, and polarity results. A single technician can complete end-face inspection and testing without repeatedly walking between units.
