Overview

The Viavi E41CWDM10L is a 10-wavelength CWDM OTDR module designed for deploying and maintaining in-service CWDM fiber networks. It enables cable operators, dark fiber providers, and telecommunications service providers to test through MUX/DEMUX equipment and perform end-to-end link characterization or troubleshooting of active C-RAN, DAS, and mobile fronthaul CWDM networks.

  • 10 wavelengths from 1271nm to 1451nm (±3nm tolerance)
  • Integrated continuous wave (CW) light source with modulation capability
  • Smart Link Mapper (SLM) option to convert OTDR traces into diagnostic icons for splices, connectors, and MUX/DEMUX elements
  • Compatible with T-BERD/MTS-2000, -4000, -4000 V2, and -5800 platforms
  • 35 dB dynamic range with 1.5m event dead zone and 5m attenuation dead zone
  • Automatic traffic detection for non-disruptive in-service testing
