Associated Research 8256 Hipot Tester

Overview

The Associated Research 8256 is an advanced electrical safety compliance analyzer from the OMNIA II series. Building on core hipot and ground bond capabilities, the 8256 adds leakage current measurement and functional run testing for comprehensive electrical safety validation in manufacturing environments.

The 8256 provides AC hipot testing up to 5 kV at 100 mA, DC hipot up to 6 kV at 20 mA, 40 amp ground bond testing, insulation resistance measurement, and leakage current verification. The integrated functional run test capability allows devices to be exercised under operational conditions while monitoring electrical safety parameters.
