The Tektronix AFG31051 is a high-performance one-channel arbitrary function generator delivering 50 MHz frequency coverage with 1 GSa/s maximum sample rate and 16 MSa of memory depth. Featuring a large 9-inch capacitive touchscreen display, built-in waveform creation tools, and real-time output monitoring (InstaView technology), the AFG31051 simplifies arbitrary waveform generation for research, education, and engineering applications.

Operating Modes
Basic Mode
Generates traditional functions and arbitrary waveforms with touchscreen and front-panel controls. Allows frequency adjustment without concerns for waveform length or sample rate, useful for analog characterization and digital clock generation.
Advanced Mode (Sequencing)
Supports complex waveforms by composing sequences of up to 256 waveforms with total length up to 16 Mpts/ch. Features include repeat, go-to, wait, jump, and triggered events. Variable sample rate technology ensures every sample is output exactly once per cycle.
