GW Instek AFG-2005 Function & Arbitrary Waveform Generator

Overview

The GW Instek AFG-2005 is a DDS (Direct Digital Synthesis) function and arbitrary waveform generator designed for educational and industrial applications requiring accurate, affordable signal sources. Operating from 0.1 Hz to 5 MHz with 1 Hz resolution, the AFG-2005 delivers sine, square, triangular, noise, and arbitrary waveforms with high fidelity and stability.

With a 20 MSa/s sampling rate, 10-bit vertical resolution, and 4k-point memory for custom waveforms, the AFG-2005 provides flexible signal generation capabilities. The intuitive user interface combines numeric keypad entry with knob selection for easy parameter adjustment, while an integrated 3.5-inch LCD screen displays waveform settings in real time. PC-based waveform editing software is included for creating complex, custom waveforms that can be downloaded to the instrument.
