Overview

The Viavi SmartClass OCC-56C is a handheld, battery-operated optical channel checker for dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) systems. It is designed for field service groups responsible for installation, maintenance, and upgrades of DWDM networks. The instrument scans DWDM systems and automatically records all channels with their wavelength/frequency and power levels, allowing technicians to assess network performance and identify issues in the field.
