Description
Overview
The Chroma 63803 is a programmable AC/DC electronic load designed to simulate load conditions under high crest factor and varying power factors with real-time compensation, even when voltage waveforms are distorted. With 3600W power rating and 36 Arms maximum current, it operates across a 50-350 Vrms voltage range and supports both AC (45-440 Hz) and DC modes.
The unit includes built-in 16-bit precision measurement circuits for steady-state and transient response analysis, including true RMS voltage and current, real power (P), apparent power (S), reactive power (Q), crest factor, power factor, and THD. Dual analog outputs allow external oscilloscope connection for voltage and current monitoring.
Key Features
- Real-time load compensation for distorted waveforms and high crest factor conditions
- Master/Slave parallel control for synchronized multi-load operation
