Overview

The Chroma 62180D-1800 is a programmable, bi-directional DC power supply for testing renewable energy systems and electric vehicle components. Operating in two quadrants, it provides both power source and load characteristics, enabling battery simulation, charging/discharging cycle testing, and grid back-feeding capability.

The unit features a touch-screen interface with 100 programmable settings for automated test sequences. It incorporates active PFC >0.98 for high conversion efficiency and supports a wide three-phase AC input range of 200–480Vac, with output power derating to 67% at lower voltages.
