Overview
The Fluke Calibration 9170-B-R is a precision metrology well calibrator designed for the most demanding temperature measurement and calibration applications. The Model 9170 achieves the lowest temperatures of the series, reaching -45°C in normal room conditions. With stability of ±0.005°C over its full temperature range (-45°C to 140°C) and 160 mm (6.3 in) of immersion depth, the 9170 delivers exceptional uncertainty budgets and is perfect for pharmaceutical, laboratory, and field applications.
As part of Fluke's Hart Metrology Well series, the 9170-B-R minimizes temperature gradients, loading effects, and hysteresis through deep well design and proprietary dual-zone control electronics. It uses only traceable, accredited PRTs for calibration, and the built-in reference thermometer input (Tweener technology) enables direct measurement of reference thermometers with ITS-90 characterization.
