Overview

The Fluke 9173-DW-R is a high-performance calibration tool designed for thermometers operating between 50°C and 700°C. This model features a built-in reference thermometer input, making it suitable for use as a reference standard in laboratory and field calibration applications. With an immersion depth of 203 mm (8 in), it is particularly suitable for calibrating thermometers at high temperatures. The display accuracy of ±0.25°C at 700°C, combined with excellent stability and uniformity performance, dramatically reduces uncertainty budgets for high-temperature calibrations.

The Model 9173-DW-R minimizes temperature gradients, loading effects, and hysteresis, making calibration measurements more meaningful. It uses traceable, accredited PRTs and Fluke's proprietary electronics for consistent, repeatable accuracy. The integrated Tweener measurement technology can accommodate 100, 25, and 10-ohm PRTs with accuracy from ±0.006°C at 0°C to ±0.027°C at 661°C. The unit is compatible with Fluke's Model 9938 MET/TEMP II software for fully automated calibrations.
