Overview

The Tektronix MSO46B 500 MHz variant is a 6-channel mixed signal oscilloscope ideal for RF and high-speed digital design applications. Part of the 4 Series B line, it features an upgraded processor ensuring faster operation and precise measurements with industry-leading 12-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that deliver 16 times greater vertical resolution compared to standard 8-bit oscilloscopes. With 500 MHz bandwidth and 6.25 GS/s sampling rate, it excels at capturing high-speed signals and detecting subtle timing issues.

The innovative FlexChannel technology allows each of the six analog input channels to function as an analog channel, eight digital logic inputs (with optional TLP058 probe), or provide simultaneous analog and spectrum views with independent controls. The integrated Spectrum View feature eliminates the need for a separate spectrum analyzer, enabling simultaneous time- and frequency-domain measurements on a single platform.
