Overview

The HOBO S-WCG-M003 is a durable, ultrasonic wind speed and direction sensor engineered without moving parts. Its ultrasonic technology enables detection of very low wind speeds starting from 0.4 m/s—lower than the 1.0 m/s threshold of traditional mechanical sensors. The sensor seamlessly integrates with HOBO data loggers through a plug-and-play setup and operates using its built-in solar panel for power, requiring no additional wiring or configuration.
