Description
Overview
The Siglent SCP5500 is a DC-2 MHz active current probe designed for measuring very high currents up to 500 Arms. It features a robust Hall Effect sensor with ferrite core and offers dual-range operation in 75A and 500A modes. The probe is powered directly from any oscilloscope with a SAPBUS input, eliminating external power supply requirements for field measurements.
Part of the SCP5000 series, the SCP5500 combines 1% DC accuracy with low circuit insertion loss, making it essential for power electronics, motor drives, energy conversion systems, and industrial applications requiring reliable high-current measurement and analysis.
