Borescopes & Videoscopes

Borescopes and videoscopes are remote visual inspection instruments that allow technicians and engineers to examine the interior of equipment, structures, and confined spaces without disassembly. Using rigid or flexible insertion probes fitted with high-resolution cameras and LED illumination, these tools transmit real-time video and still images to an external display or recording device. They are indispensable in predictive maintenance programs, quality assurance workflows, and non-destructive testing (NDT) applications across industry.

Modern videoscopes feature articulating probe tips for navigating bends, digital image and video capture, Wi-Fi connectivity, and ruggedized housings for harsh industrial environments. Probe diameters range from under 4 mm for precision bore inspection to over 10 mm for large-diameter pipe surveys. Flexible push cables serve pipeline and sewer inspection, while rigid borescopes are preferred for straight-bore engine and turbine inspections.
